Technische Qualitätsprüfung einer Schrift

Prüft eine binäre Schriftdatei anhand ihrer Tabellenstruktur: ob die erforderlichen head, hhea, hmtx, maxp, cmap, name, post sowie die Konturen glyf und loca vorhanden sind, ob magische Zahl und em-Größe in head stimmen, ob die Oberlänge in hhea größer als die Unterlänge ist, ob die Längen von hmtx und loca zur Glyphenzahl passen, ob cmap eine Unicode-Untertabelle hat, ob Familien-, Unterfamilien- und vollständiger Name existieren und ob die Prüfsumme der ganzen Datei stimmt. Es gibt eine Bewertung von 0–100 und eine Liste von Fehlern und Hinweisen.

Checks a binary font file by its table structure: whether the required head, hhea, hmtx, maxp, cmap, name, post and the glyf and loca outlines are present, whether the magic number and em size in head are right, whether ascender is above descender in hhea, whether hmtx and loca lengths match the glyph count, whether cmap has a Unicode subtable, whether family, subfamily and full names exist, and whether the whole-file checksum matches. It gives a 0–100 score and a list of errors and warnings.
